Makerere University Shines at the 2017 International Conference on Education Stockholm

On 7th June 2017,  Dr Paul Birevu Muyinda, Associate Professor, the Dean School of Distance and Lifelong Learning, CEES, Makerere University, Dr Twine Bananuka a lecturer in the Department of Adult and Community Education, Dr Alex Okot, Chair Department of Adult and Community Education and J Bateeze presented a paper on “Leapfrogging Graduate Training at Makerere University from Conventional to Blended Learning Pedagogy” at the 2017 International Conference on Education Stockholm, Sweden, the presented paper received a wide applause from the Conference attendees.

This is a ‘WAY TO GO’ approach to modern pedagogy. These are strides that are being made in online, distance, e-learning or blended learning.  Thanks to SIDA, NORAD/NORHED, Makerere University and University of Agder, that are variously supporting the development of blended learning capacity in the College of Education and External Studies in particular and at Makerere University in general.
