On 8th November 2018, the Dean School of Education Dr Ezati Betty together with other colleagues Dr Mugagga Anthony, Dr Nicholas Itaaga, Dr Peter Ssenkusu escorted the visiting Professors from Malmo University Sweden, Prof Catrin Stensson, Anika Rosen and Therese Lindgen for a courtesy call on the Vice Chancellor, Makerere University Prof Barnabas Nawangwe. The Malmo team is at Makerere University to spearhead the development of Early Childhood pedagogy at Makerere University under a Malmo-Makerere Sida eighty year sponsored collaboration for capacity enhancement of Makerere University staff in Early Childhood pedagogy and curriculum development.
On 7th November 2018, Professors from Malmo University made a courtesy call on the Principal Makerere University College of Education and External Studies Professor Fred Masagazi Masaazi. The group was welcomed and led to the principal's office by Prof Ezati Betty Dean School of Education, Makerere University, Dr Maria Ochieng , Dr Ssenkusu Peter and Antonio Mugagga. The Malmo group is at Makerere University to spearhead the development of Early Childhood Education
