On 7th January 2019, the Principal, College of Education and External Studies, Professor Fred Masagazi Masaazi addressed and welcomed students from Agder University to Makerere University, College of Education and External Studies, Department of Adult and Community Education on Student Exchange Programme. The students are here for specifically study purposes and carrying out research especially the third year students. These Students will be in Uganda for 4 weeks

The Principal was with his team that gave Introducatory remarks and the team include include Acting Deputy Principal, Associate Professor Bisaso Ronald, Dean School of Distance and Lifelong Learning, Dr. Okot Alex, Acting Head of Department, Dr. Ronald Mukuye and Ida Martine Hommane

 

 

The students were taken through introduction lecturers like Do's and don'ts in Uganda: Ugandan Culture and traditions by Ms. Constance mudondo, Assistant Lecturer from the Department of Adult and Community education. 

 

Lecture II was given by Mr. Tibs Jimmy Tumwesigye, Assistant Lecturer in the department of Adult and Community Educatiuon, he lectured students about the political ecology of Uganda and Freedom of Speech.  This was followed by discussions and reflections, tour of Makerere University  and lastly welcoming Dinner at Fairway Hotel, kampala – Uganda.
