On 26 June 2018, the Deputy Principal MAKCEES, Associate Professor Paul B. Muyinda is at the Commonwealth Secretariat in London validating a new Project we have been developing as members of Association of Commonwealth Universities. The project is called the Commonwealth Higher Education Youth Work Consortium Degree Programme Project.
The project will benefit our recently launched Online Bachelor of Youth in Development Work (BYDW) External degree programme since the CHEYWC youth programme is an upgrade of the CYP as it is for our BYDW Programme. Makerere University has been applauded for taking initiative to upgrade the CYP diploma. He will be presenting our experience in developing the programme for other Universities that have not yet developed the programme to pick a lesson or two.
