At a special meeting held on Thursday 29th June 2017, Makerere University Council received and considered the recommendations of the University Senate on the Report of the Search Committee for Principals and Deputy Principals.
For the College of Education and External Studies, the University Council unanimously recommended Prof. Fred Masagazi Masaazi for the position of Principal and Dr. Paul Muyinda Birevu, Associate Professor for Deputy Principal respectively to the Chancellor for appropriate action
