The Academic Registrar, Makerere University is calling for applications for Bachelor of Education (External) for the Academic Year 2013/14.
This program basically handles the following teaching subjects as approved by the Ministry of Education and Sports (Agriculture, Music, Business Educ, Mathematics, Religious Education, Luganda, Kiswahili, Literature, Language Education, Political Education, History, Geography, Social Studies,Art and Design,Integrated Primary Science,English Language Studies) in addition to general foundation courses that are done by all students such as Communication skills, General foundations of Education, Development studies, Computer Literacy, Educational Psychology etc).
The programme is premised in the Department of Open and Distance Learning in the College of Education and External Studies. Face to face sessions with tutors only appears during holiday times and the rest of the time, the students are expected to read the self guiding and well written study materials.
