Dr. Paul B Muyinda, is a Ugandan with a Ph.D. in mobile and electronic learning, is a trailblazer in Open, Distance, and eLearning (ODeL). His remarkable journey includes key roles in national and international ODeL projects. A leader at Makerere University, he crafted the institution’s first online programs and policy framework. Beyond borders, he advised The Gambia College on ODeL strategies. As the Director of the Institute of Open, Distance, and eLearning (IODeL), he empowered 1500+ academic staff. Currently, he coordinates the Mastercard eLearning Initiative, transforming 2560 courses. Dr. Paul B Muyinda is shaping education’s future through innovative instructional design and policy contributions.

My PhD thesis received an award as the best post graduate research project of 2010 in the Uganda Communications Commission Annual Communications Innovation Award (ACIA) of 2010. In 2009 it received a highly commended research award from Emerald African Management Research Fund Award.
