Biography

Winfred is currently pursuing a PhD in Adult and Community Education, in the School of Distance and Lifelong Learning, College of Education and External Studies at Makerere University. She is actively engaged in teaching, research,and working with rural farmer groups to enhance their farming knowledge and skills for improved agricultural productivity and food security.

Research Interests

Farmer education, food security, refugee studies, farmer field schools, participatory community development and extension education, with a strong emphasis on participatory farmer education and sustainable food security.
