Dr. Rose Atugonza has also conducted education-related research on learning processes in correctional settings, including the study “The Praxis of Learning in Prison Environments”, implemented in Luzira Upper Prison, Gulu Main Prison, and Kitalya Prison under the Mak-RIF project (ongoing).
Dr. Atugonza has extensive experience in consultancy and professional training, particularly in the areas of needs assessment and programme planning, social impact evaluation, workplace health and safety (including stress management), change management, and operational efficiency. She has also facilitated capacity-building programmes and Training of Trainers (ToT) for various organisations, with a strong focus on gender issues, institutional capacity development, and training for local government staff. She is experienced in designing and delivering tailor-made professional development courses for public and community institutions.
