Karembe F. Ahimbisibwe is a Lecturer in the Department of Adult and Community Education at Makerere University. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, where he obtained a doctorate in International Development Studies. He has over 20 years of experience in teaching and supervising graduate and undergraduate students. He has taught courses such as Philosophy, Political Economy, Gender and Literacy Studies, Grassroots Learning, Citizenship, and Research Methodology, among others. His research has been published in Routledge, Palgrave Macmillan, Global Society, International Development Planning Review, and Third World Quarterly, among other notable outlets.
