Transformative Pedagogy

A drama animating the history of South Africa was performed by a group led by Andrew Damba a former student of the School of Education Makerere University this approach transitions from the traditional lecture system to a more interactive system.
This approach to teaching and learning increases alertness and interest of the students more in the subject matter where students get to learn as they enjoy the drama.
Community involvement in such initiatives is another crucial aspect that aids students in grasping various concepts of a subject.
The activity was a collaboration between the Department of Education Foundations & Curriculum Studies School of Education,Mr. Damba Andrew, Central Broadcasting Service(CBS), and Buganda Broadcasting Services(BBS)
