MakCEES Research and Grants Support Office was established in February 2014 as a key endevour in the CEES 2008/2009-2018/2019 Strategic Plan. Not many academic staff and students were involved in funded research, and the few researchers involved in funded projects faced challenges in accessing opportunities, writing and submission, complying to donor guidelines during implementation, as well as reporting and publication. The MakCEES Research and Grants Support Office was set up to provide technical and logistical support to faculty, students, administrators and researchers in different aspects of grants writing, management and research administration including publication. The office is also acting as a hub for grants related information, donor guidelines and calls for funding for research and scholarships.
